Elections over, time for 'road' to action!!

Elections over, results declared!! Kudos to the winners, and to others, silent claps for participation!!

Everything is set for the newly-formed states and festive season of swearing-ins has ended too!!

But, is there any change in day-to-day life of a common man? Are the everyday basic problems even thought of by authorities?

If casting vote is a duty of citizens, having good, atleast decent roads is their basic right.

Roads in Hyderabad, the city which is going to be the common capital for two states, have gone to the dogs. Actually, even dogs are finding it difficult to walk on these roads.

With monsoon just around the corner, Hyderabadis are sure to face a tough time. Although bad roads and traffic jams are not new to the city, the ongoing metro works have made it worse. 'Posh' areas in the city are filled with leaking drainage water and 'National Highways' are so full of pits that vehicles are moving in a zig-zag!!

Leaders, thanks for all the promises you have made before elections. It's time for some action. You don't have to transform this city into a Singapore, just give us decent roads, our long-term dream, our right!!
